Position Overview:

As we continue to strive for effective system solutions, we require a Senior QM Lead in our Quality Management Team to provide testing delivery expertise in HUON Finance area.

The Senior QM Lead will be responsible for providing team leadership, direction, and technical guidance specific to building test strategies by leveraging a team of functional testers along with test automation and performance platforms.
As a senior member of the QM Team, the individual would lead the solution delivery of HUON Finance portfolio from a testing perspective. The Senior QM Lead will work hand in hand with multiple development, delivery and business teams to deliver quality solutions to production.

What you will achieve in this role:

 Responsible for governance and management of testing service delivery for HUON Finance.
 Lead day-to-day support of organizational processes of Quality Management Services including:
o Scope management
o Stakeholder management
o Resource Supply & Demand management
o Resource utilization tracking
o Issue & Risk Resolution
o Projects interdependencies
o Communications
o Measurement & Reporting – Delivery Metrics
o Continuous Improvement & Efficiency Tracking
o Assign tasks to all Testing Team members and ensure the optimal use of team capacity for project(s) delivery.
 Responsible for resource management of Supplier resources.
 Provide technical and business functional expertise in the HUON Finance area.
 Perform the necessary training and onboarding of new testing resources.
 Ensure all applications and technology solutions are thoroughly tested by ensuring testing is performed according to RSA standards and industry best practices.
 Understand the testing needs of Projects, IT operational, and Business As Usual (BAU) teams to guide test estimation.
 Establish and maintain working relationships with Project Managers and Business stakeholders.
 Act as the Testing Subject Matter Expert for HUON Finance area (covering Financial Reporting, Reinsurance, Treasury and Billing)
 Engage with the project teams at deep level to provide consulting and guidance by making use of the best available test techniques, strategies tools given scope of situation

What you bring to this role:

• Strong Finance testing experience or equivalent business expertise
• Accounting experience is a strong asset (insurance accounting preferred)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience from which knowledge and skills may be obtained
• 5+ years of experience using Test Management, Defect Tracking, Requirements Management, and Modeling tools, including automated testing tools framework
• Experienced in creating, maintaining and utilizing reusable test cases and driving efficiencies across the Finance portfolio
• Experience in leading a test team or a project team and acting as a mentor for less experienced test team members
• Must have vendor management experience
• Ability to think through complex testing plans and drive solutions
• Anchors defect prevention activities, implements the defect management process. Conducts defect triage meetings. Apply Finance business and/or technical knowledge and skills to analyze, develop and implement solutions for process improvements, trouble-shooting and new product development support in assigned area.
• Should have knowledge of the implementation of various QA methodologies such as AGILE, Iterative, Waterfall etc.
• Should be abreast with latest quality trends and new industry tools
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills and experience with testing delivery.
• Experienced with tools like Visio, Seapine Test Track, HP ALM, HP UFT
• Ability to guide the team on various processes and procedures that are innovative and enhance productivity, including testing methodologies/techniques
• Ability to adjust priorities and realign resources to manage unexpected changes in the project schedules, proposing solutions and setting priorities
• Excellent communication skills and adept in reporting test status on timely basis to the project/program stakeholders
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively, while maintaining accuracy and sensitivity, under tight timelines and schedules
• Effective negotiation skills
