Reporting to the Director Digital Development & IT Integration, the successful candidate will strategically apply a design solution process to our Digital project deliverables. You will create comprehensive end-to-end solution and coordinate relevant stakeholders as required to support development initiatives. As an influential team member, you will be responsible for developing detailed solution design and act as Digital SME through the design and development lifecycle.

What you will achieve in this role:
• Think strategically and apply a design solution process to Digital project deliverables• Bridge the gap between customer needs, commercial viability, and technical feasibility• Create solution options and a comprehensive end-to-end solution and coordinate relevant stakeholders as required to support development initiatives• Develop detailed solution design and act as Digital SME through the design and development lifecycle• Provide initial scope and estimates for new projects and initiatives for the development / design component of the overall plan working with relevant team members / stakeholders• Work with business owners and development team to define metrics and performance goals• Experience and success working in an Agile development environment• Deliver effective and efficient solutions which meet key project milestones• Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area and keep current with leading edge technologies, emerging trends / developments and grow expertise of the business, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques
What you bring to this role:
• University Degree in Computer Science or a degree in a related discipline or equivalent training and experience• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Ability and willingness to work under pressure for sustained periods of time on multiple projects• 7+ years' experience as a key SME on Digital technology projects• Strong technical, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.• Advanced knowledge of technology standards (e.g. infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications)• Subject Matter Expert who consults with clients and/or project teams, assuming the lead design/analyst role.• Ability to develop strong relationships with peers, internal and external customers and IT partners.• Proactive team player with effective time management skills; ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines/projects and keep key players informed• Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and be able to work independently as well as within a team and with internal business and technology partners at all levels• Ability and willingness to maintain knowledge and skills through efforts during and outside of work hours• Financial Industry experience is an asset
