Position Overview:

• The Program Manager, Talent Acquistion is part of our Talent Community of Expertise (CoE), and is accountable for the design and implementation of various recruitment programs, in order to drive a more strategic and programmatic approach to talent acquisition.
• A key part of this mandate is to improve our ability as a recruitment function to scale, based on demand and business need.
• This work will be supported and enabled by greater use of technology, tools, and as well as enhanced hiring manager engagement and supports
• This newly created role will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition and will also work closely with the VP, Talent Management.

What you will achieve in this role:

The core responsibilities of the Program Manager, Talent Acquisition include the following:

o Building programs and strategies to transform the recruitment function, and strengthen and modernize current approaches, with a priority focus on volume and/or complex hiring

o In active partnership with the Talent Acquisition team and other key stakeholders, this work will include the following:

 Driving Candidate Assessment Practices
 Building our Employer Brand (in partnership with Communications & Marketing)
 Developing our Campus Recruitment Strategy
 Effective Vendor Management
 Building Hiring Manager capability, readiness and accountability to hire the best talent
 Ongoing Process Modernization
 Supporting effective Workforce Planning (in partnership with Organizational Effectiveness team and HRBPs)

o Act as a contributing member of the Talent Acquisition team with direct recruitment efforts in select areas -- likely senior level hiring – working closely with the Head, Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition team

o Perform other related duties as assigned

What you bring to this role:

• 7 to 10 years applicable experience in talent acquisition, including program development & management.
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in business or HR management. HR/Talent Management certification would be considered an asset
• Exposure to/understanding of leading talent acquisition practices, technology and methodologies in the marketplace. Experience driving innovative recruitment programs is important.
• Strong project management capabilities
• Ability to share expertise and provoke thinking, to effectively influence stakeholders and clients
• Creative, innovative thinker with the ability to find new and/or unique solutions to challenges
• Excellent coaching, collaboration and facilitation skills
• Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset
