Position Overview:

Located in Mississauga and reporting to the Manager, IT Compliance, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring IS & IT risks are managed appropriately by ensuring compliance to all Policies that are owned by IT. Located in Mississauga, the successful candidate will test IT General Controls (ITGC) and other global IT controls like PCI-DSS, network security etc. and report on control testing findings by working collaboratively with key stakeholders and members of the IT Compliance team.

What you will achieve in this role

- On an annual basis assess and test the design and operative effectiveness of IT controls part of the IT Control Framework at RSA Canada
- Provide guidance on ITGC testing methodology, validation processes, procedures, adherence to policy, artifact submission and documentation
- Execute on the testing plan by communicating control requirements and findings to control owners, reviewing evidence submitted and confirming results via creation of Risk Acceptance (RA) and Remediation Plan Agreed (RPA) records as applicable.
- Establish yourself as the internal Subject Matter Expert for governance over control validation and testing activities.
- Work closely with Remediation Lead within the IT Compliance team and business stakeholders to report, track and follow up on RA and RPA as applicable
- Assist in the development of reporting materials for the various committees (IT Risk Committee, Canada Risk Committee, Quarterly Controls Committee, etc.)

What you bring to this role

To achieve the above you will;
- Have up to three years’ of experience in a related testing position working with KRI’s and IT controls
- Take initiative and ownership of accountabilities
- Strong problem solving ability
- Lead/facilitate & influence discussions with Senior Leaders in IT, Enterprise Risk etc.
- Working knowledge of IT and Information Security Governance models & controls, in order to provide effective challenge and guidance to control owners.
- Experience working with risk management methodologies.
- Knowledge of PCI requirements
- Be able to multi-task and change direction/priorities quickly.
Education & Experience
• B.Sc computer science or in a related field
• Professional Designation in IT compliance or Security such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) is preferable
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Previous IT Audit experience required
