Position Overview:

The Third Party Risk Consultant will be responsible for:
• Leading the development and implementation of the third party risk management program from within the Information Security team
• Working with IT Compliance resources and vendors to implement the ServiceNow third party risk platform to support vendor assessments, reviews, control monitoring and vendor recertification campaigns
• Evaluating third party risk assessment submissions
• Identifying vendor control deficiencies, escalating issues to the Risk Remediation lead and tracking issues in the ServiceNow GRC platform
• Working with vendors to develop remediation plans that comply with RSA control requirements
• Working with RSA legal resources to ensure that Information Security clauses are well defined and vendor assurance requirements are contractually addressed
• Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure that vendor reviews are executed in a timely manner and Information Security risks are raised prior to contracting or contract renewal
• Creating and reporting third party risks, issues and remediation activities
• Working with business stakeholders, technology and information security resources on risk assessments related to merger and acquisition activities
• Acting as IT Compliance SME for compliance oriented platforms related to third party vendor risk (McAfee Cloud Access Security Broker, Varonis, etc.)

What you will achieve in this role

• Build strong relationships with the second line of defense (Enterprise Risk)
• Work with IT Compliance resources and integrators to develop and implement and enhance the ServiceNow vendor risk portal
• Act decisively and work with a high degree of autonomy

What you bring to this role

• A professional Designation in IT Compliance or Information Security such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP).
• 5+ years related experience
• An ability to work with multiple stakeholders within the business and report effectively to Senior IT executives
• An ability to work directly with vendors, negotiate remediation initiatives and communicate risk to business owners
• Experience in a managed service/outsourcing arrangement
• The ability to work independently on multiple initiatives simultaneously
