Position Overview:

An integral part of our growth strategy, and a large reason for our success, is our group strategy. We currently have a career opportunity for a Home Auto Consultant who is enthusiastic and exhibits thought leadership, organizational skills, and strong communication skills and is based in our Richmond Hill, Ontario office.

Reporting to the Vice President, Affinity Client Solutions, you will be is responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of service within Home and Auto Group Clients. You will work as part of the regional consulting team and will be responsible for supporting the region’s Home-Auto group’s growth and business strategies throughout Ontario.

Who you are

An experienced, self-motivated, highly resourceful, strong relationship Account Manager who has a demonstrated track record of success in developing new business and relationships and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.

What you will achieve in this role

Specifically, the Home Auto Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identify opportunities within the region to develop new Group relationships and build growth within existing client accounts
• Build strong relationships within existing accounts at the Senior Management level
• Ensure sales targets are achieved through new business development and client service within existing accounts
• Grow and maintain an active sales pipeline for prospects and new client opportunities
• Increase new and existing client revenue by collaborating with clients and developing new initiatives to drive business
• Produce Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses and presentations to clients and prospects, ensuring consistency of brand, image, product, approach and offering
• Participate in Business Planning Process and Client Reviews to ensure that marketing, sales and operational initiatives are fully integrated
• Representing Johnson and promoting the Brand at client events as well as within the community

What you bring to this role

• Must have 5+ years of Sales and Relationship/Account Management experience
• Insurance knowledge considered a key asset
• Relevant Post-Secondary education/certificate in business program or relevant experience
• Solid knowledge of relationship management, business development and service practices
• Superior analytical skills
• Critical and Strategic thinker
• Must be a dynamic and strong communicator
• Demonstrated presentation and client relationship skills
• Must be a team player and have proven Networking skills
• Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office

This role requires frequent travel within Ontario.
