Position Overview:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Claims Adjuster, Auto Physical Damage where you will have the opportunity to handle auto claims for Ontario and/or Western Canada. We are looking for auto adjusters who want to enhance their skills in negotiations, total loss and total theft claims while fostering their customer service skills. With your expertise in claims and combination with education, you are able to obtain licensing in Atlantic Provinces.

Being a part of the National Claims team, providing support all across Canada, this role provides flexibility; working shifts between the hours of 6:30 AM (EST) to 8:00PM (EST), Monday to Friday and as business needs arise during peak periods.

• In this department we deliver brilliant service by responding to all new or existing claims and inquiries accurately and efficiently to create a positive customer experience.
• You will be exercising your subject matter expertise in liabilities and determinations
• You will have exposure to national claims handling within personal lines with opportunities available in commercial lines
• You will contribute to the team’s success by consistently leveraging RSA best practices.
• You must have the ability to act decisively and work with a high degree of autonomy.

What you bring to this role

• Minimum 1 years’ experience as an auto claims adjuster handling auto physical damage claims
• Fluency in French and English is an asset
• Actively involved in the CIP designation or completion
• Working knowledge within Tort environment is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication in providing world class customer service
• Prior call center, customer service experience particularly in the Insurance industry is considered an asset
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and grasp new concepts
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts Monday to Friday 6:30 am – 8:00 pm EST and as business needs arise to best support our clients and customers across Canada
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Guidewire
