Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Lean Performance Management, this position will take your process practices to the next level. You will be the energy and motivation to meet our business requirements and coach new breakthroughs in the way we do things. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that? As a Senior Process Excellence Partner, you will guide the team by establishing best practices, building relationships and communicating with key stakeholders on process management and governance. This role is critical to the success of Lean best practices and the continued optimization of RSA’s core processes to reduce cost and increase efficiency and effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be flexible to travel frequently to the other RSA Offices throughout Canada.

What you will achieve in this role

•Develop and maintain the continuously evolving process improvement methodology and successfully execute lean process strategy and adherence to the enterprise policies, methodologies, and governance.
•Ensure that all core operational processes are defined, documented, measured, maintained, optimized and have process owners
•Own and oversee process related initiatives, work packages, and process deliverables included in strategic, enterprise-level, and/or large-scale projects and programs
•Continue to gain agreement, commitment, cooperation and support from your team and the business
•Lead others to and through implementation of lean change activities by persuasion, influence, demonstration, negotiation, and teaching
•Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to team members including effective
ongoing communication and feedback

What you bring to this role

• 7+ years hands-on process improvement experience
• Experienced People Manager and the ability to coach and develop your direct reports.
• Lean/Six Sigma Master/Black Belt certification and process and quality methodologies (e.g. DMAIC, DFSS, ITIL, COBIT) and applications (e.g. Visio, iGrafix, Minitab)
• Knowledge of workflow modeling, content management, and process management best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional influencing, and facilitation skills sufficient to manage stakeholder’s expectations
• Ability to make difficult decisions utilizing your problem solving skills
•Proficient with various MS Office applications - in particular Excel & PowerPoint
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management discipline
•Project Management experience or PMP certification would be an asset
